digiral identity is your presence online and It is an identity that can be searched. A digital identity is typically defined as a one-to-one relationship between a human and their digital presence. Digital Identity can also be a professional ID that defines who you are.

    People use personal networks to socialize and expect personal updates on personal networks. Professional networking is used to find career opportunities and keep in touch, and is more concerned with career and current affairs based updates. When we use digital identities, we can’t have face-to-face conversations, which can create false first impressions. If my profile shows that I like hip-hop music and marijuana, it will likely lead to people thinking that I am not competent at work.
