Building a vibrant, reliable and engaging personal network is, in my opinion, a long-term commitment of time and effort. You need time to build your own user base and create an attractive personal network platform. For example, if I want to build my own platform on WeChat or QQ, then I need to add my friends to communicate and interact with my friends on the Internet. Are you leveraging healthy relationships from your PLN for growth? 

Yes, I have been using WeChat healthily for 8 years and this social software has always accompanied me in my growth. On this, I can communicate effectively with my friends and family, and I can also easily understand what the people around me are doing through the blog.

How would you create a PLN prior to engaging a social media campaign on a topic of your choice? 

First of all, before starting PLN, I will first understand what my subject is. If my topic is music, then I will download the most popular music software compare Apple Music instead of Facebook. How diverse is your PLN?

My learning result from PLN is that it has increased my knowledge in the field of study, and I can obtain the knowledge I want more easily and effectively through the Internet. In addition, whether it is study or work, it enhances the communication between people and shortens the distance between people. Through conversations with others and sharing on social platforms, I can enhance my understanding and understanding of others.

How likely individuals are going to continue with their created content and their network? 

I think as long as people can get value out of the network, they will continue to use the content and network they create. Some people use the Internet for their hobby, some for their jobs to make money, and some for their studies. I feel that students need to consider security and privacy when expanding their professional learning network. In the network, we will disclose our information, which is easy to be stolen and used by some people. There are also many malicious programs and software on the Internet. We should avoid these to prevent our information from being maliciously used by others. In addition, we need to avoid some phishing URLs, which are often spread in the form of spam and false advertisements.

How does data privacy and security limit and/or promote a PLN?

I think data privacy and security can help some people share information and knowledge more safely and effectively on the Internet without worrying about their privacy being leaked. Because of security, more people will share on the Internet, and PLN will become more mature as more people use it. Because of the restrictions, some people need to spend time on security certification, which also leads to people spending more time on the Internet to maintain their own security and privacy.

In your network, how can you create a digital identity/ reputation?

Create a digital identity in the network, like your second ID card. People can understand your personal information and ideas more quickly through the Internet. I like that it can be displayed in the form of photos, texts, and videos, so that others can know myself more effectively.

I think employers can recognize me better from my digital identity and judge how much value I can bring to him or the company. From the digital platform, he can see the other side of me that I want to express, including my own value, expressive ability, creativity and so on. I might add my abilities and work experience so the employer can see what I have done and what I can do for him.
